Why are IFS documents needed? 

Management systems are based on document and good manufacturing practices. GFSI-approved standards such as IFS focus on the document and good manufacturing practices necessary to ensure the safety, legality and quality of products and services. In good manufacturing practices, you need to explain with documents how the job will be done in order to ensure uniform food, product and service, as well as everyone doing the same job in the same way. 

In order to determine the documents required in the IFS standard, documented information, recording or monitoring system is required in the relevant standard clause. In the 126-item question list of the standard, it is mentioned that there should be a document, recording and monitoring system in approximately 100 questions, that is, approximately 80% of the standard.
